Local Events
We are encouraging Christians to hold events to increase prayer for schools in their area.
What’s the idea?
To bring together people from local churches and those involved in education – parents, pupils, teachers, meals supervisors, Governors and anyone else with a heart for young people – to pray strategically for schools in their area and those involved in them. Also, to encourage ongoing prayer for specific schools.
When’s it happening?
Pray for Schools events are larger events than the weekly, monthly or termly prayer events for individual schools. You can use one or more of the four times in the year: Schools Prayer Trail in May, Back to School with God and Education Sunday in late August/early September and Pray Day for Schools in November.
Of course you can plan an event at any time of the year! We’ve got plenty of ideas and resources to help you to make your event a success.
